[Preview Release] New enigmail locale packages for thunderbird and mozilla on debian

Thanks to Hans Oefverbeck (hans.ofverbeck@home.se). He did a single enigmail locale source package that produces all locales currently actively maintained at http://enigmail.mozdev.org for debian. All those languages below are now available from my preview archive. Anyway, those packages are ment for the time after sarge. So if you want those locales for sarge, use my preview archive.

Note: if you already have an enigmail locale package installed from my archives, please remove it prior to installing the one from below. Further, the packages will only install if you have a mozilla-locale or mozilla-thunderbird-locale package of the same language installed. So some locales might not be installable, because there is no such thunderbird locale yet.

i have linspire five en want to ussing firefox and mozilla thunderbird in ducht language,how can i do this.

Hi John,

I don’t know much about linspire, but I guess they use the same mechanisms and packages as debian for this.

So try to install the following packages:

mozilla-thunderbird-locale-nl mozilla-firefox-locale-nl-nl

if you use enigmail, install

enigmail-locale-nl too.

When your system locale is dutch already, this should be enough. If you still don’t get a dutch thunderbird, feel free to come back.
