What about 3G hardware that already work with Hardy NetworkManager? I use a Toshiba TS705 mobile phone with Yoigo as provider. In order to get it to work a path to udev is needed. NM 0.6 (in hardy) doesnt support any PPP connections (nor 3g). what you see is gnome network-admin – which will die in intrepid most likely. So please test and submit your results. Thanks! From what I’ve heard, madwifi is probably not the right thing for Atheros these days, anyway. I was chatting with various folks at oscon about it and various problems I’ve had. I want to know if there is some ways to connect to the Internet through my 3G netcard .Its ZTE AC580.I cannot "wvdial" successfully.Who knows? check latest networkmanager from the networkmanager ppa: https://edge.launchpad.net/~network-manager/+archive/ppa … we did a few ZTE tweaks, so maybe it works |
