In this context I want to explain my decision to stick to provide those packages for sarge only. Firstly, mentors.debian.net only provides a single distribution to upload to. This makes it impossible to have 2 different version available through apt at the same time. So unless I would choose 2 distinct package names, this won't work here. Secondly, in this context, I made this decision because new packages will be available quite deferred to sarge users compared to sid users! So providing those packages to sarge is for a much longer term use and thus more reasonable.
Anyway, remember that you use packages sometimes even less tested than the official unstable packages, so be aware that you might be left in quite bad state!
